This game allows players to experience the magic of the market and problems caused by asymmetric information.  The game settings allow the instructor to modulate the amount of information that buyers can access about the quality of the products.  Some buyers can be fully informed, while others kept in the dark.  Alternatively, all of the buyers can have partial information about product quality.  Finally, conditions can be created which allow the sellers to signal buyers (credibly or not) about product quality.
