Games List

This is a list of games that are currently available on this site as Java applets.  Before you proceed, please ask your instructor to start a game as the "umpire" from the faculty page

The Fishing Game
"The fish are jumping.  Let's go fishing.  Buy and sell boats.  Decide where to fish.  Watch an open access fishery at work."

This game was inspired by the "Fishbanks" game invented by Dennis Meadows.

The Symbol Game
Choose which product to buy and maximize your total happiness, but beware...the amount of happiness you get ebbs and flows with the number of people who buy the same product, and switching can be costly.

Market Simulation Game
"Watch the magic of the market at work, and see what can happen when guile is allowed free reign."  This is a much modified version of a game design by Charles A. Holt and Roger Sherman.
